Experience & Teaching

Tel Aviv University: Noar Shoher Mada

Course Creator & Instructor, "Build Your Own ChatGPT," an original course for outstanding high-schoolers, part of Tel Aviv University's Noar Shoher Mada summer program. Students learn the principles of neural networks and model training, then build and train a language model of their own from scratch.

Curriculum Designer & Lead Instructor, 3-day AI camp (about 15 hours of scientific content overall), "Thinking Like AI," part of Excellence in Science, the Ministry of Education's national science-excellence program, run jointly with Tel Aviv University. Authored and delivered all the sessions, and guided student teams end-to-end through a real machine learning project.

Bina Balev

Member of the lecturer staff at Bina Balev, an organization dedicated to making AI accessible. Contributes lectures on practical AI topics as part of the Bina Balev community, helping make AI education more accessible to a wider audience.

Google & Reichman Tech School: Power Tech Program (Coming Soon)

Teaching AI: how large language models are trained, how to design and evaluate AI agents, and how to use AI tools in real-world software development, as part of Power Tech, a collaboration between Google and Reichman Tech School to strengthen software skills with a focus on industry placement, for software-track graduates of Machon Lev. Part of the program takes place in partnership with Ready.

We teach AI as a serious technical discipline. Students learn concepts that apply to real systems and develop the ability to reason about models, data, and limitations as practitioners do.

Learning by building

Understanding grows through practice. Students build, test, analyze, and refine AI systems.

Encouraging girls and women in AI

Lessons are designed to encourage active participation, thoughtful discussion, and learning without fear of mistakes. Feedback emphasizes effort and understanding rather than competition. Examples are broadly relevant, and real-world applications show how AI can help people.

Grounded in research and long experience in high-tech (including firsthand experience as a woman in the field), this approach reflects a commitment to motivating and supporting girls and women in technical fields while strengthening learning for all students.

Psychological safety

Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas openly, and make mistakes as part of the learning process. Dialogue and thoughtful engagement are central to every class.

Small, interactive online classes

Classes are intentionally kept small to encourage discussion and individual attention.
