3) How We Use Information
We use information to:

- Communicate operational updates (links, changes, reminders, support)
- Maintain a safe learning environment (moderation, enforcement of rules)
- Improve our courses and service quality

4) Recordings (Important)
4.1 Recording purposes. Some sessions may be recorded (video/audio/chat/screen) for educational and operational purposes, such as enabling enrolled participants to review content (where offered), quality assurance, and instructor training.
4.2 Limited access. Recordings (if provided) are available only to enrolled participants (and their Parent/Guardian) of the same course for private educational use, subject to our Terms of Service.
4.3 No participant recording or sharing. Participants and Parent/Guardians may not record sessions or share recordings, screenshots, transcripts, or any class content that includes other participants.
4.4 No marketing use without separate consent. We do not use recordings or images of minors for marketing (website/social media/ads) without separate, explicit Parent/Guardian consent.
4.5 Privacy controls. We may require first-name display only, camera-off, or other privacy rules to protect minors and the learning environment.
5) Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card details. Payment providers process information according to their own policies.
7) Trial Lessons, Follow-Ups, and Marketing
7.1 Operational follow-ups. After a trial lesson, we may send operational messages related to the trial (e.g., thank-you message, feedback request, scheduling/admin details).
7.2 Marketing messages. We will send marketing messages (course offers, promotions, newsletters) only where permitted by law and typically only if you opt in (e.g., by checking a separate consent box). You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe option or by contacting us.
8) International Data Transfers
Because we serve international students and use global service providers, personal information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
9) Data Retention
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for:
- course delivery and administration,
- customer support, disputes/chargebacks,
- legal/accounting obligations,
and then delete or anonymize it where feasible. Recordings are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described in Section 4, then deleted/anonymized, subject to legal obligations.
11) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12) Your Rights and Requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information. To make a request, contact: contact@binametis.com.
We may need to verify your identity (and parental status where relevant) before fulfilling requests.
13) Children's Privacy
Our courses are generally intended for ages 11–18 and adults. Enrollment for minors is completed by a Parent/Guardian.
If participation involves children under 13 in certain jurisdictions (including the United States), we may require additional parental consent and verification steps before allowing participation and/or collecting information.
14) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new Effective Date.
